About Us

The name "BirthTrust.com" was chosen to reflect the need to have faith in the way your body was made to successfully go through pregnancy and childbirth.

It has been our experience that the vast majority of women approach birth with great fear. The opposite of fear is trust. Trust is the same as faith and true faith will help to eliminate fear.

The only way to have trust and confidence in your body's ability is for you to become educated about what your body was designed to do. Knowledge leads to faith, faith leads to confidence, and confidence leads to peace of mind.

Faith is often referred to as leaping into the unknown with the confidence that everything will go the way it should. The unknown causes fear in most of us and the knowledge that you can learn from other's successful experiences will give you hope, confidence, and peace.

About Alison Haasch, LM

I am Alison Haasch, a licensed midwife serving the East Valley of Phoenix, Arizona. I began my work with mothers and mothers-to-be in 1997, when I became a childbirth educator trained through the Bradley Method® and then taught independently. Also in that year, I became a peer counselor for the WIC breastfeeding support and education program.

In 2000, I took the next step and became a DONA trained doula and have worked as a doula since that time. The joy of witnessing a family welcoming a new baby further spurred me on to take the next step.

In 2005, I became an apprenticing student midwife and studied with midwives Pamela Qualls, LM and Susan DiSilvestro, CPM. My training was very thorough, providing me with valuable, hands-on experience for three and a half years. Additionally, I have studied a midwifery curriculum and have passed the NARM and the midwifery licensing tests required by the state of Arizona.

Also, I have been blessed with six children, three of whom were born at home. They currently range in age from early teens down to a toddler. The birth and babyhood of each of my children have taught me valuable lessons, both as a mother and as a midwife.

I am currently taking Arizona midwifery clients in Phoenix, Tempe, Scottsdale, Chandler, Gilbert, Mesa, Fountain Hills, Maricopa, Casa Grande, Queen Creek, and Florence. I will consider clients outside this range on a case-by-case basis.
